In this fun and investigative class, students with some enameling experience will further their knowledge of the art of enameling through several more demonstrations and experiments in this investigative one-day workshop. Explore the use of liquid enamels, enamel threads, enameling on a dimensional surface, drawing on the surface, using fire scale to your advantage, and some non-traditional ways of working with enamels. This technique-based workshop will be open to experimentation & play as you complete several sample pieces, and a variety of pendant and earring components.

Saturday, October 21 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM  

All levels are welcomed and no metalworking experience is required (ages 16 and up).

Class Fee: $130 + $25 Materials Fee payable at registration

Registration Policy

Classes and workshops are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment in full is required to register for a class or workshop. For your convenience, you may register the following ways:In Person - Stop by the studio during regular business hours. We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.Online - Register online any time and pay by credit card. By Telephone - Call (440) 205-1770 during regular business hours to register by phone and pay by credit card. Enrollment in a class is closed after its first meeting. Absences should be discussed with individual instructors. Sorry, we do not pro-rate enrollment fees for missed classes due to vacations, schedule conflicts, etc. All students are required to sign a liability waiver before participating in any class, workshop or open studio.

Class Refund Policy

Cancellations must be in person or in writing by email. Phone cancellations are not accepted.

Students who withdraw 15 days or more before the start of a class or workshop will receive a 100% refund of tuition and prepaid material fees minus a $10 cancellation processing charge for all class cancellations.

Students who withdraw 14 days or less before the start of the first class will receive a 50% credit to be applied toward another class. Prepaid material fees will NOT be refunded as they have already been invested in the class or workshop.

No refunds or class credit will be made if cancelled within 72 hours before the start of class. Material fees will NOT be refunded as they have already been invested in the class or workshop. We do not issue refunds or make up days for classes or workshops missed by the student.

Virtual *Guest Artist Workshops*
Due to the cost and effort to coordinate a virtual guest artist for an online class, please note the following policy applies to any workshop or class noted "Virtual Guest artist", "Virtual Visiting Artist", or "Virtual Master Workshop":

Students who withdraw on or before the stated registration cutoff date of a Virtual "Guest Artist" or "Visiting Artist" workshop will receive a full refund, less a $50 processing fee.

Students who withdraw after the stated registration cutoff date and before the start of the workshop, it is NOT possible to refund any class or material fees once materials kits have been shipped. No credit or refund will be given.

In studio *Visiting Artist Workshops*
Due to the cost and effort to bring in a visiting artist for an in studio class or workshop, please note the following policy applies to any workshop or class noted "Master Workshop" or "Visiting Artist":

Students who withdraw 6 weeks or more before the start of a "Visiting Artist" workshop will receive a full refund, less a $50 processing fee.

Students who withdraw less than 6 weeks before the start of a "Visiting Artist" class or workshop, it is NOT possible to refund any class or material fees because they have already been invested in the course. A 50% credit may be applied toward a future class or workshop. Cancellations with less than 2 weeks notice, no credit or refund will be given.

CANCELLATIONS:
If it is necessary to cancel a meeting of any class or workshop due to low enrollment, students will have the option to transfer to another class or can choose a full refund issued within 10 business days.

If it is necessary to cancel a meeting of any class or workshop due to inclement weather, instructor illness, or other
emergency, we will notify students, and reschedule the class or workshop when possible. Communication about weather-related delays and cancellations will be sent to the e-mail used for registration, through notices on our social media pages, and on our website www.fluxmetalarts.com.

We reserve the right to make changes in classes, workshops, schedules, instructors, and cancel a class or workshop due to insufficient enrollment before the start of class.
